Product Description

These regulators are specifically designed to provide sensitive, accurate, low-pressure control for laboratory applications. They feature an oversized “pancake” body of magnesium alloy with a Buna-N diaphragm. These regulators are typically used in conjunction with other high-pressure regulators or on house-line systems that limit inlet pressure to 250 psig (except on model N570K the inlet pressure limit is 10 psig). Regulators are adjusted easily by removing the knurled nut and turning the screw to alter the tension on the diaphragm. Because these regulators are not typically recommended for direct connection to cylinders, they are provided with a 1/4" FNPT inlet port. Direct cylinder connection is only permissible when using liquefied compressed gases with vapor pressures below 250 psig such as 1,3-butadiene, n-butane, isobutane, isobutylene, propane, and propylene. With these products, a CGA-510 connection must be used.
